District 4

About Julie:
Julie Davidson-Greer was born and raised in Sheridan, WY, and graduated from Big Horn High School in 1994. She earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Manchester College, in North Manchester, IN, and later studied land resources and environmental sciences at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.
Greer returned home to Sheridan in 2004, and for the following seven years she owned and operated an outdoor clothing and equipment store. This gave her a unique platform from which to get involved with the community, whether serving on boards of local service organizations or teaching outdoor skills to locals of all ages.
Subsequently, she worked for the Wyoming Community College District for five years as Director of Outdoor Education and Recreation. Currently, Julie divides her time between she and her husband’s business, Trimworks, and the Center for a Vital Community at Sheridan College, where she is the project coordinator.
Julie fills her free time by serving on the Sheridan Community Land Trust board of directors, writing occasional outdoor columns for The Sheridan Press, and facilitating community engagement as often as possible. She and her husband, Stuart, also enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, fly fishing, canoeing.
