The Wyoming Territorial Prison’s parking lot will have much needed asphalt maintenance work done this coming July 4th weekend. On July 6-7, 2021, portions of the parking lot will be closed for construction. The historic site will still be open for visitors, but there will be limited access to parking on both days with a specific traffic pattern in place. This will also affect access to the RV Dump Station. On July 7th the RV Dump Station will be closed to the public for 24 hours, re-opening on July 8, 2021.
“We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause our outdoor recreation enthusiasts. We are hoping this announcement will give the public time to find an alternative dumping station during the construction,” says Deborah Cease, Superintendent.
