Wyoming Arts Council Announces March as Youth Art Month

The Wyoming Arts Council is pleased to announce March as Youth Art Month, a national observance each year emphasizing the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.

The national theme for this year’s 2021 Youth Art Month is, “Art Connects Us.” Youth Art Month recognizes the benefits to arts education and student participation in all the Arts – music, dance, creative writing, poetry, theater and the visual arts.

Every year, the Arts Council sends our Wyoming schools and arts partners a poster that celebrates the visual, performing, and literary arts. To request either an electronic or print copy of the poster, contact the Wyoming Arts Council.

The Arts Council continues to enhance arts learning in Wyoming through partnerships with individuals and organizations that help build a vibrant arts community.
