CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Sept. 16, 2026 – The Wyoming Arts Council has awarded $162,500 in Creative Aging Project Grants to Wyoming teaching artists and nonprofit organizations to develop and deliver a total of 65 eight-week arts programs for older adults across the state. Programs will occur through June 2027.
Creative Aging programs provide arts learning and social engagement opportunities for older adults in communities across Wyoming. Programs are offered in locations such as arts centers, libraries, and senior centers. This year’s classes represent a wide variety of artistic disciplines, including dance, leatherworking, printmaking, and improv.
